The pest year in Palm Beach County
Nothing goes dormant here for long, but pressure still moves in a pattern. Treating on this rhythm beats reacting after the trail is already across the counter.

| Jan – Feb (dry, cool) | Pressure is lowest all year. Best window for exclusion work: seal soffits, vents and door sweeps. | Rodents look for warm, dry space. Set traps in the attic and garage before spring. |
| Mar – Apr (warming, dry) | Termite swarms at windows and lights. Iguanas become active and start on new growth. | Ghost ants come inside looking for water. Start baiting early rather than after the trail is established. |
| May (hot, dry) | Chinch bugs show in the hottest, driest parts of the lawn. Fire ant mounds appear. | Roach activity climbs with the heat. Refresh gel bait and the exterior perimeter band. |
| Jun – Sep (wet season) | Peak everything: mosquitoes, lubbers, sod webworms, toads. Reapply after storms — rain washes residual off. | Rain floods roaches and ants indoors. Bait and perimeter treatments after every heavy storm. |
| Oct (rains ending) | Mosquito breeding sites dry up. Good time for the last full yard treatment of the year. | Rodents move back toward structures as the yard dries out. |
| Nov – Dec (dry, cool) | Iguanas slow down in cold snaps and can fall out of trees — they're often not dead, so leave them alone. | Quiet season. Deep-clean and re-seal so spring starts from zero. |
