We spec a waterborne alkyd so you get the leveling and hardness of an oil finish without the yellowing or the solvent cleanup.

Prep that decides the outcome
- Degrease every door and frame — cabinet failures are almost always contamination, not paint.
- Scuff sand to 220 grit and vacuum, then tack cloth.
- Prime bare or previously stained wood; allow full cure between coats.
- Let ADVANCE cure 16 hours between coats and a week before heavy use.
