Aura is the paint we hand people when the answer is "I want to do this once." It carries more pigment than anything else on the shelf, which means saturated colors — deep navies, true reds, charcoals — cover in two coats instead of four.
Benjamin Moore's Color Lock technology binds the colorant into the film, so the color you approve is the color you still have in a few years. On the South Florida coast, where UV and salt air fade lesser paint fast, that difference shows up on the west and ocean-facing elevations first.
We tint Aura to any Benjamin Moore color at both stores, usually while you wait.
Aura is the most expensive line we carry per gallon, and often the cheapest per job — fewer gallons, fewer coats, fewer hours on a ladder.

Why most Florida repaints step up to Aura
Aura is often the first product people consider when the goal is standing up to the hot Florida sun and resisting fading over time. On a repaint, most of the cost is in the labor, not the paint — so it makes both financial and practical sense to invest in the best possible exterior coating and get the most longevity out of the project. That's especially true in colors that fade easily because they rely on translucent pigments, like yellows, oranges, and pinks.

Is Aura worth the extra cost over Regal Select?
For deep colors, high-traffic rooms, and coastal exteriors, yes — you usually use fewer gallons and fewer coats, which closes most of the price gap. For a ceiling or a rental turnover in an off-white, Regal Select is the smarter buy.
Does Aura really cover in one coat?
Two coats is still the honest answer for a color change, and it's what the warranty language assumes. What Aura buys you is that two coats is genuinely enough, even in a deep color where other paints need three or four.
Can Aura be used outside in Florida?
Aura Exterior is a separate product from Aura Interior and is built for exactly this climate — sun, salt, and driving rain. It's the line we spec most often on condo and HOA repaints along the coast.
