Do you charge for color help?
Counter color help is free — that is what we are here for. In-depth design work through Hessler Interiors, covering paint, wallpaper, window treatments, and furnishings together, is a paid design service.
Can you match a color that is not Benjamin Moore?
Yes. Bring in a physical sample — a chip, a piece of trim, a switch plate, a fabric swatch — and we will read it and tint a match. A photo on a phone screen is not reliable enough to match from.
How many colors should I sample before committing?
Two or three, painted on the actual wall in a large square, looked at in morning and evening light. Florida light is bright and warm and will pull a color noticeably.
Why does the same color look different in my house?
Light source, wall sheen, flooring, and neighboring colors all shift how a color reads. That is exactly why we push sample pots over chips.
