What to know
Sheer shadings suspend soft fabric vanes between two sheer facings. Open the vanes and you get a filtered view; close them and the room turns private while still glowing. The vertical version handles patio doors and floor-to-ceiling glass with the same effect. It is the treatment people point to when they want light without a hard edge.

Fabric vanes float between two sheers. Lower the shading for coverage, then tilt the vanes from closed to open to trade privacy for view without moving the shade.
