What to know
Nothing warms a room faster than a natural weave. Woven woods soften hard architecture and read beautifully against white walls and stone floors. Add a privacy or blackout liner when the window faces a neighbor or a bedroom, and finish with a matching valance to hide the roll.

Natural woven material rolls or folds up into a stack. Fully down still passes a little light through the weave unless it is lined.
This diagram is a simplified demonstration of the motion, not a rendering of a specific product. Stack height, light gaps, and how the treatment looks at each position vary by brand, fabric, and how the window is measured.
